it's so sad and pity!! boo...
she was young and pretty.
she had a good character.
she was very talented in music too.
she was involved in commercials and mvs and beauty-related books.
her acting was not bad too.
she acted in movies -
向左走向右走 and some ou xiang ju -
惡男宅急電, 撞球小子, 狂愛龍捲風, 流星花園 etc.
she still got plans ahead of her and a long road to go.
yet,
she passed away this evening due to an accident two days ago. she was seriously injured and went into deep coma.
she was Xu Wei Lun,
許瑋倫, a taiwan actress.
rest in peace.

=random thoughts=
caution: if don't want to be bored to death. can don't read.
human are really difficult to understand.
some may think A is better than B, while others think otherwise.
a few may think that C is the best.
some think that it is better to say out everything u want to say.
some prefer to keep things inside them.
i think for all to tell out everything, there will be chaos.
as mindsets differ among people.
people will get a little irritated if the others do not have similar ideas.
some will even over-react at it.
also, if everyone will to keep things inside their hearts. t
here will be no interactions among human.
the world will be colder.
so it is better to have those two kinds of people around.
some are really living a good life with lots of blessing and share it around.
some have no idea that they are having one and keep complaining.
some are still searching for the blessful life.
some do not even have one and they hope very much for it regardless how long it last.
wouldn't it be good that everyone got equal portions of it?
some are really talented.
some do not know that they have talents that have yet to be found.
some have talents which they can't see for themselves and keep on complaining that they do not have one.
some, who are not so talented, are striving hard to prove themselves.
some do not have one and are working hard to look for it. s
ome are just plain lazy to look for their own talents.
i believe everyone has their own talents. at least there is one.
some are optimistic, while some are pessimistic.
some are simply thinking too much and there are also people without thinking.
can we have more of optimistic people in the world?
is there a way to strike a balance between the twos?
so that there will be less suicide cases and crimes.
and also lesser medical cases which are caused by being pessimistic.
some are being loved by most people.
some cannot feel that they are being loved.
some do not know that they are being loved by others.
some are greedy for more love.
some are not being loved and they wanted to have it badly.
some do not deserve to be loved.
hmm. can't think of more to write. there may be a part 2 if i happen to think of a few more.

this week, as usual, been working and studying at the same time.
cos there's 2 assignments and 1 quiz for this whole week and i am working at the same time. i had to burn a bit of midnight oil each night to finish them. particularly for the LBO assignment. so headache.
then, the point is that, all that i did was a waste. as in the time i used to spent on them. the LBO assignment due date, according to the lecturer, is postponed to 2 weeks later due to popular demand. zzz. i purposely didnt go for work and slept less just to rush the assignment. then the due date is postponed!! argh.. made me rush and then not doing it at my best and went to sch early to print out. this is what i got. true la. now i can go and edit it, make it better. but i don't think i m going to touch it again. scared of it.
then, here came the quiz part. i also spent my night to study it. but the next day, the lecturer cancelled the lesson, cos she was not feeling well and unable to continue with the lesson. zzz. still need to wait for arrangement of makeup lesson. hopefully is not on a sat..!!
conclusion: this week is quite an unlucky school week. zzz.

went to buy a new calculator today. as soon as reached home, went to check on the old calculator to see whether it's really 'dead', so i exchanged the batteries between the new and old calculator. and here i thought the old calculator is beyond hope, it suddenly works. =.='''
''k, maybe is because of the batteries, maybe the batteries are not working anymore.''
so i proceeded on to put the old batteries into my new calculator. it works too. =.=''''''
''the batteries are working. how come the old calculator cannot work on it. so strange.''
then, i decided to put the old batteries back to the old calculator. if u are thinking that the calculator works, u are extremely right. the screen immediately lighted up and looked as if new batteries are inserted. =.='''''''''
qi si wo le. the old calculator purposely goes against me!!!!!!!!!!!!
now i have 2 calculators that can work.
but what was consoling is that, the old calculator has a little faulty on the screen thus even though it is still workable, it is not suitable for me to bring into examination halls. ^-^

DAY 6 - Macau
last day of the whole trip.. had our breakfast in the hotel's restaurant.. doesnt taste very good.. and the variety as a buffet was not wide..
set off to our 1st stop - ruins of St. Paul Cathedral- after breakfast via cabby..

after visiting for awhile, we went the the fortress besides this ruins..
went to the street opposite the St. Paul Cathedral to shop for snacks like almond cookies (very tasty!)
then, we took cab to the macau tower.. oh ya.. side track abit... the roads at macau are so fun.. as in there are many slopes (some are very steep) and the cars are like turning in and out everywhere, into small or big roads.. haha..

took picture of the tower in 2 parts.. this is the top part of the tower.. haha.. wanted to do the skywalk near the top of the tower.. but partly i guessed was becos we didnt have enough time allowance for us to do that.. also, i think no one was as keen as i was.. lol.. thus, went to roam around inside the tower.. went to the mini museum of nissin noodles.. haha..
had lunch at the dim sum restuarant inside the tower before heading to the ferry terminal..
so tired!! made use of the 1-hr journey to catch a nap in the ferry ^-^
back to hk, we went straight to the airport & home sweet home~~~

DAY 5 - Hong Kong + Macau
our plan initially was to go ocean park, but because we didnt have enough time and the basketball craze was still on, thus went for basketball in the morning. played with the ppl there for sometime. wanted to try the mac breakfast(slightly cheaper there) but we ended too late for the breakfast.. so went back to rest and wash up be4 continuing with exploring the neighbouring..

our lunch at the local fast-food restaurant (think is called 大家乐). here's the meal i'd ordered. the food was not bad and had the price of the normal fast food restaurant.
after meal, we went for a search for dessert. we got ourselves fu zhu yi mi, red bean soup, durian and mango dessert.. the soup desserts were really smooth and nice.. esp the fu zhu yi mi.. yummy~~
took a turbo jet ferry to macau.. the speed was indeed faster than normal ferry.. haha.. this is the photo i took when we were closer to macau.. see the tall thin tower in the middle? that's the macau tower.. sorry for the blur pic.. cos i zoomed and the weather was a bit foggy..
we checked into the best hotel throughout the whole trip... the bathroom was spacious with bathtub and shower seperately.. and there's super comfy beds.. hoho..
chinese oral session in progress..
our 1st stop in macau - 渔人码头 -it was cold n windy here, at the coast side.
had our dinner at their food court inside the Yu Ren Ma Tou.. the way of ordering food was quite special.. we order at the cashier and take the receipts and proceed to the respective stall to collect the food..
after walking around the Yu Ren Ma Tou, we went to casino!! since no photo-taking is allowed inside, thus, i only shot down the look of the building.. hoho.. inisde the casino, there's ppl smoking, gambling(of cos!), looking here n there(like us), a stage with live band and a singer, waiters/waitresses serving drinks around the whole casino.. oh ya, the casino is huge.. 3 storeys high.. but the games are almost the same for each level.. anyway, it was eye-opening to me cos i had nv went to a casino before! hehe..

sorry for late post.. recently really busy.. so tired... my mind and body are staging protest.. keep having headache and dizzy spells.. plus, difficulty in recalling and remembering things.. so so sian.. anyway.. here's the photos..
DAY 4 -Shen Zhen + Hong Kong
went back to hong kong after breakfast in shen zhen..

on the train back to hong kong, the 4 of them playing 'bridge' while i took photos. notice the baby at the corner? he is so cute!!! so pei he with my camera.. lol.. he is so curious with the poker cards.. keep looking at them.. anyway, i secretly take another shot of him.. cant control myself.. he is simply too chubby!!
posing at the mac at the hk train station, tried a few products not seen in spore.. nice~

had lunch at a dim sum restaurant, the food r nice n cheap (in terms of a restaurant)!!! but the scenery outside was not nice as it was just view of old-looking building..

after lunch, went to Wong Tai Sin Temple (via MTR)..

the weather was quite clear that day.. cute little clumps of clouds.. hehe..
still at the same venue...
went to a funfair beside the temple, buy food n drinks.. and fed each other this and that.. so funny.. haha.. munch munch munch~~
the next destination - Nite streets like Nu Ren Jie, Hua Yuan Jie (Mong Kok)
done 2 types of exercise - walking and eating- hoho.. no shopping hor? strange.. *eye rolling*
went for Gui Ling Gao at a famous shop 海天堂 (sister's branch) there.. really can taste the herbal ingredients in it.. no artificial taste.. yummy~ drank oso the Gan Mao Cha (herbal tea for cold) at the brother's branch.. so bitter~ but look at wl's expression, seems like she enjoyed it.. =P
after that, we loitered around the mongkok area.. wandered further n further away.. till someone spotted a basketball court! lol.. ppl got excited and wanted to join in the fun.. while i stay behind to look after the bags and stuffs and watch them played..
after the little exercising, they suggested to come down on the following morning to play.. really mad about basketball.. haha.. when it was time to go back, we walked all the way back to the hotel.. walked again =.=

DAY 3 - Shen Zhen
a boring day.. hahaha.. no la..
followed the tour.. had breakfast and went to 2 factories.. den to the cultural centre/village (or what i called xiao ren guo) for the whole afternn n nite..

trying out on traditional costumes..

one of the features.. btw, all of them are built according to the famous structures in china only.. no other countries are involved..
the sky is sooooo clear... not a single cloud is seen.. thus, it's not cold.. a simple top will do..
our new tour guide -- Miss WL--- hoho..
we spent our new year's eve nite in the hotel, hold a mini celebration with tibits and alcohol for the count down.. photo shots are not cleared.. so cant post.. anyway, tried a tiny bit of the Gao Liang Jiu.. wah.. quite 'spicy' and it smells too.. haha.. quite high alcohol volume.. think is 38%.. one of the lowest alcoholic volume (highest=52%)... played cards till abt 3+ den chased the rest to go back sleep.. cos next day still got to wake up early and we were all quite 'seh' le.. haha..

DAY 2 - Hong Kong + Shen Zhen

our breakfast - dim sum 8-course(?) breakfast- at a restaurant in hk.. the dim sum in hk are delicious~ (paiseh.. forgot how many course le)
1st stop - victoria peak - we were brought to the half of the mountain.. there were many interesting buildings and landmarks along the way up.. one building that left me great impression is the AIA building which is located by a cemetry.. cool~ cos the boss is a foreginer, thus it means nothing to them.. but the workers there are mostly hong-kongers, in order to work there with a peace of mind, they hired a feng shui master and was taught by him to have a English-coffin-shaped-like as their outer structure windows.. can't manage to take a snap of it, cos the coach is moving at a speed..

2nd stop - repulse bay -there is a temple which is meant for visitors/tourists.. no burning of incense is seen there.. got many statues including a huge guanyin godness, fortune of god.. look at the photo of the beach.. notice the small cylindrical containers? all of them are rubbish bins.. a whole row of them.. that's the reason behind a super clean beach.. hoho..

3rd stop - aberdeen fishing village - we were to either take a ride on the boat out to see the living of the fisherman or to stay on land.. we chose the latter.. cos personally i felt there was nothing much to see.. cos mainly will be all boats n yatchs etc.. also, we need to pay for the ride.. haha..

taking a pulse?? hmmm...

4th stop - visit jewellery factory and a shop selling chinese medicine and herbs - the photo of the living estate was taken in the coach while waiting for the rest to go for lunch..
our dinner at a Shen Zhen restaurant.. i dun quite like the SZ tour guide.. she's not good at handling matters and conveying her messages.. anyway, the food there are a little salty to me.. and every meal there is a big bowl of rice.. and because i dun quite like to eat rice, and those x-course meal.. thus, i failed the rating of the meals.. haha.. after dinner, went to shop ard sz..
NB: i find HK buildings to be very tall and old.. and they looked very crampy.. too small a unit as compared to our s'pore flat.. and at sz, there are still high rise buildings but, the environment is not as good as hk.. streets are quite dirty and there's alot of stairs to climb too.. den the traffic condition is so bad that u must be daring to drive a car and extremely careful when crossing road.. cos the traffic lights seems useless there.. haha.. but cab-wise, is cheaper as compared to here..

DAY 1 - Hong Kong

at departure hall in changi airport.. still got alot x'mas decorations..

just arrived in hong kong int'l airport.. this is the plane we took!

1st stop - Da Yu Shan (Tung Chung)
on the way up to see the Great Buddha.. taken from inside of the cable car

the Great Buddha! we climbed a long flight of stairs up to here!

2nd stop - avenue of stars (Tsim Sha Tsui)
very very beautiful night view along the coast.. too bad i didnt have professional camera for me to capture the breath-taking view.. the only nice photo taken along the avenue of stars.. some more that was only xmas decorations..
one thing to note: it was so windy & cold there.. brrr...

3rd stop - shop along Granville Road (Tsim Sha Tsui)
this is the photo i took before reaching our destination while walking down the streets.. fyi.. we didn't take any public transport... we walked!! day 1 already did quite alot walking.. tired!
oh ya.. the sunset timing in hk is around 530pm.. cos it's winter seasons.. and because of this, we always thought it was very late when we were out there walking for so long time in the 'dark'..
to be continued...........

so sorry that i took so long to update about my oversea trip.. came from since last wed.. i'd been quite busy ever since i came back.. attend lessons and went for work on the following day, then revised, did some catch up with the lesson during weekend.. so tired!!
anyway, the trip overall was very fun, though was quite tiring. why tiring? cos we didn't get enough rest and also did alot of walking in HK, Shen Zhen and Macau. i really do not think that i had walked that much in singapore.. haha.. another reason for being so tired was that i kept forgetting my daily medication (only ate for 2 days while my trip was 6 days.. zzz) and thus felt dizziness throughout the days where i forgotten my 'sweet'.. there was one time when i really got super dizzy, luckily i was standing besides the wall in my hotel room.. this was the only part which i felt very sian..
besides walking, exploring the places (cos was free & easy trip), we did alot of mouth-exercising. haha.. bought alot of snacks to taste.. as for me, i took quite many photos, but most of them are sceneries.. those photos with people inside are in others' cameras.. haha.. we also took alot of time travelling to and fro.. was excited cos it was my first time to take the MTR in HK and ferry to Macau.. ^-^ but we didnt manage to shop alot cos we were like rushing from place to place.. also, i felt that u won't feel like trying clothes and shoes when u r wearing at least 2 layers and shoes with socks =( nonetheless, should be very happy cos this helped me to save quite alot as we only bought some local snacks home..
PS: it's better (as in for more maddness and fun) to go with ur friends for a trip unless ur family is as happening as ur friends! =)
PSS: i will upload some of the photos in next few posts.. so stay tune! hehe..
