so happy and surprised! ^^
one fine day, i was checking my email as usual. then, there were 2 emails from both friendster and facebook. nothing special with email notifications from these 2 sites. the special part is the content of the 2 emails.
friendster - saw my sec 1 classmate's update in the notification. used to be very closed to each other as we were in same project team and she's a foreigner. but after we were being assigned to different classes in sec 2, i gradually lost contact with her. i immediately sent her a message to double check whether she's the person i'm looking for. luckily i didn't delete that email straight away, if not i will miss out this friend. haha.
facebook - my 'long lost' best buddy in my pri 1 and 2 's life sent me a message asking whether i am the person she is looking for!! i was shocked to see this email notification! i tried to contact her every now and then since the technology advanced, for instance, searching her over friendster and facebook, but everytime there's no news of her. (and there were a few tv programmes that helped artistes to find their long lost friends or relatives in the past. at then, i even thought of being an artiste, so that i can entrust the mission to them. lol. i'm good at dreaming right?) and now when i am not searching around for her, she came to me. i am overwhelmed! i think she just joined facebook ba, since i couldn't find her when i joined. haha.
anyway, how did we lost contact with each other? this happened when i was around pri 3 or 4, i was being transferred to another primary school as my family had decided to move house after i ended my pri 2 life in my first primary school. we still sent each other letters to keep in touch. but after sometime, there was no reply to my last letter. i was very sad at the thought of losing my first ever best friend. =(
now, i'm glad she is still doing fine. i didn't ask her about the no-reply to my last letter. no point bringing up this old topic. haha. and to our surprise, we actually attended the same JC!! OMG. so near yet so far. i flipped the year book and found that she was in the same class with my secondary classmate too. wah. what a small world! but i wasn't that close with that sec classmate, if not i sure would have found her earlier. haha. (i think my friend isn't close with that sec classmate of mine too, cos i didn't have any recollections of seeing them together in school. lol)
2 good things happened together at one go. so lucky? does this spells trouble or means that unlucky stuff is going to happen soon? i seldom, or rather, rarely have sequential good things occuring within a short period. hmmm...
