just now (as in mon nite) i received a letter.. a letter which gave me surprise rather than disappointment..
from the previous post.. i had mentioned about this interview which i knew the chances of being accepted is super slim.. so i didnt hope on any expectation of receiving call from them.. haha..
the letter i had received is a rejection letter.. was kinda surprised that they will send out such letter to those candidates who failed to get the position.. good good.. cos normally, they will only notify you when you are accepted..
even though it's kinda expected that i wont get the job.. i still feel abit sad at the instant where i saw this, 'thank you for blah blah blah'.. and there i thought i should have already been numbed to such rejection letters.. haha.. cos i had received quite a number a few years back when i applied for local universities..
haiz.. am i so terrible? maybe ba..
so sian.. gonna look for jobs liao.. really dunno what to do.. haiz haiz haiz.. most of my friends in uni have already found job liao.. so sian.. why must work?? earn money rite? i know.. so sian..

on mon, i did a very heartaching thing -- spent near 200 bucks in a shop!! it all started when i went to browse through the clothes on the racks while waiting for xy to try on her clothes... zzz.. why i so itchy hand to go browse through them? so ended up trying a few clothes, spending think got an hour inside the shop.. i browsed through the working pants section and tried a few designs.. they are really fitting to me, as apart from the cutting, i do not need to alter the length of the pants, the length is just right for me.. ^^ after that, the salesperson asked mi to try on a skirt.. at that point of time, this line was running through my mind, 'no harm trying ba, since i'm not interested in skirt'.. so i tried on it.. 早知道........................................................ =.= the skirt fitted me quite well, it's a quite formal A-line cutting skirt.. think it is more suitable for those working in banks or for interview use.. i am a bit regretted on getting it.. zzz.. hopefully i will be able to make full use of it ba.. dont wan to waste my money.. the salesperson helped me to choose some tops to go along with the bottoms.. this is the part which i dont really like.. she kept asking me to buy the last piece short-jacket cos it looked nice on me and it's fashionable.. i didnt want to buy it cos i really dont think i will wear lo.. sorry ah.. i'm not a fashionable gal.. so i didnt buy all the tops she let me tried on.. all i bought is 1 spagh top which i wanted to wear it with a cardigan.. workable for both work and shopping.. haha... then, just because we want to hit 400 bucks (cos we left 30 bucks to go after totalling up) to get lifetime membership and instant 5% off, both of us bought additional spagh top each.. zzz.. gals rite? hahaha.. after buying 2 pairs of pants, 1 skirt, 2 tops and 1 belt (to go along with the skirt? haha.. no la.. can match with other bottoms too..), i stepped out of the shop, feeling very depressed.. lol.. cos i have never spent such a huge amount on clothing before.. also, my top priority is still on working blouse!! =.=
on wed, went targetting for blouses (again.. top prior ma..), bag and some casual tops.. went home empty handed? nope.. i bought a bag!! a bag sutiable for shopping and working (i think).. muahaha.. but so sad lo.. my mum said, 'nice meh?? it's like a bag for auntie' 打击..... 啊!!! *clutched my heart* zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz........................... retro ok!?!?! lol.. anyway.. i still never get my blouses.. sad-ded!!
thurs, went shopping with my mum.. anyway, when i said shopping with my mum.. most of the time it's like accompany her to shop instead.. just dun understand why.. haiz.. before that, went to visit my mum's cousin's mum (aka maternal grandma's sister.. 姨婆 is how i called her in cantonese.. dont really know how to address her in english.. lol)... cos she had an operation done recently.. my aunt was there tempting me to highlight my hair cos she said recently the young working adults like to dye/highlight when they just stepped into the society.. lol.. (she is a hairdresser who provides hair service at her home.. sorry ah.. i forget the term for this..) the point of mentioning this is.. my mum always object me to dye or highlight and not so supportive when i say i want to rebond.. then my aunt keeps asking me to dye/highlight, perm/rebond and never mind about my mum since i'm not doing it everytime.. lol.. so funny.. then i always dont know what to do.. haha.. cos 不好意思 to decline her immediately.. so i told her, wait till i found a job then decide.. lol..
today, i had my first mahjong lesson.. lol.. i think i am really not suitable to play mahjong.. so many rules, so many tactics etc to rem.. 好乱喔!!! then my mind is not reacting quick enough.. and i still need people to guide me through the game after this first lesson.. haha.. if throw me to play alone.. i will take up a long time to decide which tile to be thrown out.. confirm anyhow play de lo.. and people who know me will know that i dont like making decisions!! so mahjong is quite torturing to me especially when i am in dilemma to throw tiles.. haha..
so the other days were spent at home.. all i did was slacking, watching shows, helping out a bit in housework.. zzz.. my room is in a mess.. especially my table.. papers and files and magazines are here and there.. wanted to tidy it since the last day of my exam.. but keeping finding it hard to do it.. zzz.. why huh? so hard meh? zzz.. lazy bum!! stop giving urself excuses!! start tidying~ but hor, i'm flying in a few days' time~ wahahaha.. well then, i shall tidy it after i come back.. hopefully.. lol
cos 1stly, i dont nid to spend any cent.. muahahahaha.. (dont mention about transportation fee la..) 2ndly, finally had a taste of laksa steamboat! 3rdly, it was like i'm back to the times when i was a quite young, going out with family on weekends instead of hanging out with frens. the feeling is so .. eh.. dunno how to describe in words.. haha..
so on sat, 3 of us (dad is still working) went down to tour agency to attend the short briefing on our hokkaido trip as well as to pay the balance.. (hee.. 9 more days to my trip~ excited~)
after that, shopped with mum at CK and OG.. basically, we were accompanying her to shop instead.. hahah.. she didn't buy anything in OG in the end (surprisingly! lol), cos we had limited time to shop since we were going to meet dad for dinner cum celebration for father's day..
brother recommended this laksa steamboat restaurant after his first visit there few weeks ago, so i suggested to go for it during father's day.. this place is along telok blangah, next to a church.. can go here for map.. price wise.. it's not those buffet style.. meaning not based on per headcount.. it is based on the ingredients and drinks u ordered (so the soup base can said to be free.. haha).. i think it is quite valuable for those who have small appetites.. haha.. seats wise.. the place is quite small.. so it will be better to reserve a table if u wan to get a table in aircon area or good area outside.. we were lucky to get a seat outside (inside -aircon- were full), cos a few mins later, all tables were filled up.. parking lots are very limited too since it is a shophouse and the surrounding area is private households estate.. accessibility is quite ok, there's a bus stop nearby.. think got alot buses like 61, 197, 100 etc.. ingredients are quite fresh, there are a few types of ingredient which i like alot.. and must try the chilli sauce they made! it is a wonderful mixture.. haha.. it's abit sweet and not super hot.. got sesame seeds as well as chilli seeds inside.. lol.. the laksa soup base is nice.. maybe to some, it is quite diluted and not hot.. but i find it ok.. as in not that diluted (but it is indeed not hot.. haha.. anyway, there got chilli for laksa, not hot right? add chilli urself lo.. hehe)
we order yuan yangpot.. one side is laksa, the other side is normal stock base.. the soup are free flow.. they will add for you either upon ur request or automatically when they see that the soup level is low..

after some time, the 4 of us kept cooking on the laksa soup base.. haha.. cos it was really yummy~ (as compared to normal soup base, which is not too bad too) so we stopped them from topping up the clear stock base whenever they attempted to add.. haha.. dont waste food ma..
felt so sinful after this meal.. laksa ler.. omg.. dunno how many bowls of laksa soup went into my stomach.. anyway, u all can go try out.. but dont bring too high expectation along.. haha..
after the laksa steamboat, since we were near Mt Faber, so my mum suggested going for a walk.. oh great! the idea of strolling after a super duper sinful and heavy meal is terrific.. haha.. but we didn't stay there for long cos it was quite late.. haha.. this was my first time (cant rem) on mt faber, exploring only a small part of it..
on sun, went to PC show with my bro and his gf.. oops.. anyway, wanted to go there to see the phone that i recently set my eyes on it.. but we went to look for the camera that my bro wanted first..
so sian lo.. reall people mountain people sea.. and human jams at the entrance/exit to the escalators that will bring us to the convention halls in suntec!! i hate this.. grrr.. but have to bear with it.. zzz..
while walking through the crowd, i got brochures/flyers on laptops.. so tempted to buy on the spot ler.. come to think of it.. my laptop is at least 4 yrs old liao.. and the screen is giving mi problems sometimes.. hmmm.. i should really buy right? BUT the problem is i have no money.. boo.. faster find job and i will get one in the next PC show! muahahahaha..
so my bro bought the camera he eyed and ta-da~~ i got free camera instantly.. lol.. cos with his new toy, the old camera ownership becomes mine.. wahahaha.. but then, i prefer a sony or casio camera ler.. haha.. suan le.. now no money no talk.. besides the old camera is only 1 yr old (quite new) and it still can be used, also the specs are quite good too.. (my bro chose de ler.. how bad can the specs be? lol)
after that, went to take a look at singtel area.. omg!! flooded with people too.. zzz.. so i just go and take a look at the phone and get a feel on the phone..
after shopping in the PC show, we went to TCC to have lunch cum tea time.. haha.. potato wedges with melted cheese were really yummy!! haha.. so was the oreo mocha frappe.. (not quite sure abt the drink name) the best part is.. it was my brother's treat (i assumed de.. cos my bro never get money from mi!! wahahaha..) thanx bro!! ^^

PS: they are collaborating with Giordano for a tshirt project on world without stranger theme.. hopefully spore got sell this! the design is quite 'special' (but i seriously doubt so!)

have been quite lazy to blog these few days.. apart from being lazy, i am busy with housework and shopping too.. hee..
well then, this shall be an update of what i have been doing since mon.. normal and long post to be expected..
my parents left for holidays on mon.. (they are coming back tonight ^^ dunno my mum will bring back nice n useful stuff for mi anot.. hee..) so i am expected to do most of the household chores.. zzz.. who asked mi to be a gal and somemore is rotting at home (actually not really ler.. at least not for this week.. haha).. the following chores are washing dishes/pots, sweeping floor, washing laundry, folding clothes, throwing rubbish (the rubbish chute is outside of my house, besides the lift area), watering plants (my mum's precious) and looking after the newly grown seedlings (specially instructed by mum).. my bro got help mi with throwing rubbish and watering plants.. so at least not too bad.. just now, i went to wash my 3 black pants & jeans manually.. so tiring.. haha.. my sweat was dripping as if i had just ran a few rounds on the running tracks (partially due to the hot weather too).. but at the end, i actually felt more refreshing than tiring.. haha.. cos so long time never exercise to sweat until that state.. haha..
besides doing the chores, i went out to shop with the intention of getting clothes for interview/work as well as leisure.. also, i wanted to get something for my japan trip.. hehe.. but both shopping trips make mi either bought things which are not in my priority list or get nothing home.. zzz.. it's sales period yet there's nothing for mi to bring home.. and some items which caught my eyes are still expensive even after discount.. zzz.. i can only conclude that i spent alot on food during these 2 trips... zzz.. hopefully if there's shopping trip tmr or sun, i am able to buy the things that are in my priority list..
i had an interview on tues morning.. this interview was kinda casual (was quite unexpected cos the typical interview in my mind is so different from this) and the people there are very friendly (eg, asked mi not to be nervous cos i'm the 1st to go).. but i think i didnt perform well during the interview.. haiz.. kind of disappointed with myself.. i got a fren who went for the same interview earlier and she got accepted immediately.. needless to say, she is a verysuitable and lucky candidate (cos she changed her schedule to earlier date, so only got 1 interviewer, while for mi, it's panel interview).. haha.. i hope i can get this job cos 1stly, i can work with my fren.. (though might not in the same dept, but at least better than nothing right?) 2ndly, i need not think so much as to which job to apply for since this interview was kind of 'drop from the sky' type.. haha.. cos this organisation invited us (an invitation to students in my sch) for a tea session, after which we were asked to go for psychometric test and wait for this interview if we passed the test.. 3rdly, this job is also in the fields that i am interested in.. well then, i was told results will be out in 1 or 2 weeks' time.. by this, i can assume that the chance to be accepted is very slim right? haha.. anyway, slim chance is still a chance.. hope i can get in.. ^^
PS: it's so rare that i can be so optimistic.. haha..
btw.. today is friday the 13th.. anyone feeling unlucky today? =p

there are 2 scenes which i like 1) where they are distributing flyers in the streets, stone n monster wiped off their sweat with ashin's sleeves, and ashin wanted to get back with them but he didnt succeed.. 2)the 3 of them taking turns to make coffee for ashin.. and masa drank it.. so funny sia.. 1st time seeing them in business suit and ashin still looks the smartest and most handsome.wahahaha.. (maybe becos he's the tallest.. lol). anyway, their acting are abit unnatural.. haha.. cant blame.. they are not actors! hoho.. but overall, this ad is quite 親切,温馨 and quite 寫實..
from the makings of this ad, for the scene where the other 4 were putting blanket for ashin, as soon as the director shouted 'cut', the 4 of them immediately went to pull the blanket over ashin's head.. as if they were covering a corpse body, then mourn for him.. zzz.. so playful..

it was the last day of my exam. it also signified the last day of my entire 10 plus years of school life. finally, it's over!! =) finally, it's over le and i'm finished. =( why i so 'clever' to go and choose 2 killer modules to study for my last uni year? win liao lor. nothing to say to myself. Orz
now really pray hard hard that i'm not going to fail these 2 papers plus another not-killer-module-but-i-think-i-did-super-badly paper. there was i pinning all my hopes on my second last paper, but i think i can't get the marks i want. so sianz...
haiz. for these 3 years, i'm most satisfied with year 2 (so far. cos i just finished my exam, results are not known until aug/sep 08) as the papers weren't the hardest, though i couldn't get the marks i wanted. year 1 - was very blur about basically everything during the exam period, cos it was my 1st time taking this kind of exams at so faraway venue (expo). year 2 - was better, cos got used to the exam standards and structure, though the exam venue is still the same. year 3 - was none better than year 2 (by right it should de ma..), cos i was so lost at choosing modules to study, ended up i made a wrong choice by choosing tough modules for the last year. and becos of this, i was so stressed up throughout the whole year, worried about this and that. the only 'nice' thing is that i got my last paper seated at somewhere nearer to me (ie AJC). thanks ah. haiz.. anyway, everything is over le, no point pondering about it. haiz...
