= Hokkaido Day 1: SG -> Tokyo(Narita) -> Chitose =
took morning flight from Singapore Changi Airport to Tokyo Narita Airport.. had lunch and tea time on board.. the lunch set was not very appetising.. the only acceptable food was the dessert - cake.. so sad.. the tea break was a sandwich and a small tub of ice cream.. luckily it was much better than the lunch.. if not i will be starving all the way till dinner.. haha..

the ice cream is as hard as rock lo.. zzz..
tuna fillings was very nice~ but i dun like the bread.. very dry.. so ended up i eat both the sandwich and ice cream together..
after 6 plus hours in the air, awaiting us was an hour plus domestic flight to Sapporo Chitose Airport..
saw many interesting things in the Narita Airport while waiting to board the domestic flight.. i was like so
sua-gu.. haha..
*there are alot recycle bins around (in fact they are everywhere in Japan.. haha).. their recycle bins are classified into more than 3 categories.. ie PET bottles(so-called plastic bottles), glass, cans, newspaper/papers, plastic bags etc.. and they are not individual bins standing around.. so is very convenient to dispose rubbish.. i even saw an ojisan separating the metal cap from the glass bottle and threw them to the respective bins.. so automatic~ haha..

*there is a machine selling insurance!!

i was able to get the window seat for the domestic flight.. the scene outside the plane was so fantastic.. got many many clumps of clouds (like candy floss.. lol.. i was feeling hungry then.. so everything to me is food related~ haha) and the sky changed its colour when the sun started to set.. so pretty~

anyway it is not obvious from the photo.. they were really beautiful lo~
colour is slightly darker.. cos sunset mode was used when taking this photo.. got feel wor~ lol..
quite a blurry photo.. cant use flashlight and the plane was abit shaky.. haha
when we finally reached our destination.. it was time for dinner.. (nv took such a long flight before.. somemore nid to transfer.. i was quite tired when we arrived.. zzz)
our tour guide brought us to our hotel which was near to the airport.. we had our dinner in the restaurant there.. it was not-super-tasty chinese cuisine.. food was quite salty to me.. so need to eat more rice and drink more water.. (i preferred the chinese cuisine for lunch on the 2nd last day.. that was the best~) no photos here as the food weren't nice.. haha..
after lunch, it was about 8+pm and there was nothing to do but to return to our hotel to rest.. rest?! no way~ we went to the convenient store opposite to our hotel to 'window' shop.. haha.. then went back to hotel to explore (but nothing much to explore cos hotel is quite small..zzz)
talking about convenient stores.. there are different names.. like 7 eleven, sunrus(?), lawson etc.. and it sells a great variety of stuff even though the shop area is small.. haha..

the traffic lights for the pedestrains are cute.. they wear a hat! hahaha..

- the whole jap is now all over the issue of saving the earth..
- but they are still being quite wasteful.. cos as you know.. they are well known for exquisite wrappings and packaging.. they wasted alot papers and plastic bags in doing this.. haha.. anyway, the tour guide told us that they are working on this issue and trying to cut down on the usage of papers and plastic bags..
